British Born Berlin Based Fort Romeau a.k.a. Michael Greene has combined a set of three individual electronic music tracks together to form an EP in a similar fashion to the way that organelles combine to form a living cell. This quality of smaller parts forming a greater whole is emphasized both in the track titles (‘Organelle’ and ‘Empire’ and, uh, ‘Untitled III’) and in the structure of the music. Individual instruments pluck and call out their parts in a direct and focused manner, and as they are layered together, the beautiful entirety comes into focus. 🍍
