Mike Lévy is also know as Gesaffelstein and he is back and he has made new music for the first time in over three years and it’s exciting because he is a prolific producer who has worked with his own brain as well as the brains of artists such as Tiga, Lana Del Rey, Phoenix, Kanye West, and Brodinski to shape pockets of music and culture in the past decade. The Silent Dark Prince returns with an appetizer of smooth hip-hop infused techno; for followers of Lévy, ‘Reset’ sets the palate to work, the familiar drones and thick mood whet the appetite for more. But alas, it is but a wonderful tease, and we must continue to wait for the main course that is Hyperion, due sometime next year. 🍍
