Sofia Kourtesis has released the most self-titled EP a person can release with Studio Barnhus, or any record label for that matter. High mix-in-mix-out-ability, this texturally rich and exotically jubilant EP is crafted with the dispossessed and other DJs in mind, taking the arena rock emotional wail and clipping it to foreign-party chants that make for great butt bumping and pelvic hype, resulting in a strange and distant hope, the smallest possible egg a person can have inside them. ‘Sofia Kourtesis’ features dolphins and high hats, never once choosing sleep over groove; the ethos affirmed in the final track ‘Home Is Where I Can Dance.’ ⛰️
