Why does it matter where we come from? When do we get to break free from our past? Does anything change once we’ve broken free? Is it bad to cling onto an idea of self or place even if it differs from reality? How long does it take to forget a culture’s appropriations? Will societies ever stop hurting other societies feelings? Are any of slowthai’s gold teeth real? Why are we collectively allowed to decide things? Was this an inevitability? Will I need to install a third air con unit in my apartment? Why does an uncontrollable situation make those who have no stake in the outcome very sad? Can you be sad about an experience you haven’t experienced? When will we be able to look back on this with any kind of positive light? Is there a point in differentiating nationalism and insularity? Is there a level of power a person can attain that allows their singular opinion to become fact to the many? Why is nothing as it seems? Is it comfortable to perform on stage in only socks and underwear? Is it okay to give someone an impossible task just so that someone can be blamed?🍍
