A team of sound engineers make their presence felt, though the feeling goes against the narrative of the song’s creation. Though it feels campy to give the track this sort of attention, ‘Don’t Doubt ur Vibe’ mixes a perpetual dance-house synth swell in major chord progressions to accompany and bolster the optimistic lyrics summarized by the title. Elon’s candid language risks banality while asserting New Sincerity. “Don’t doubt your vibe because it’s you / Don’t doubt your vibe because it’s true.” Those are the words. The only words.
