A smattering of selections from Bella Boo’s 2019 salacious Once Upon a Passion have been sliced and diced by soundscapers and sonic explorers alike starting with a brightened and intensified take on ‘She’s Back!’ by Off The Meds followed by Karima F’s dark and bass heavy wade through ‘Can’t Leave You Like This.’ Shy One comes in and absolutely smashes ‘Tuesday’ to bits, rearranges the parts into a cathedral window of sound, and angles the lights just enough to provide us with the drive-around-the-city-with-the-windows-down Jam of the Summer. ‘Stars’ gets an infectious Kornél Kovács beat wash n’ wax and the whole project is rounded off by a dreamy Matthew Styles edit of the unreleased ‘Sin Sin;’ a wonderful collection of tracks to listen to during this less than wonderful time. 🍍
