Tiga, our old frenemy worked with his frenemy Audion aka Matthew Dear to hit that sweet liminality Tiga so often reaches for in which seemingly diametrically opposed genres or aesthetics come together to form a harsh disruption in our normal flow of consciousness. Their July project pairs the west’s increasingly frantic search for meaning in seeking the self with industrial post-love techno. The effect is both bleak and titillating as meditation meets machination, machination being the more powerful force in the tracks. ⛰️
