Dappled sunlight peaks through the leaves, reaching the damp forest floor. Soft moss cushions your bare feet as you slowly descend towards the water’s edge, a slowly trickling stream with plenty of rocks and ferns and fish. Bubbles bubble and water pitter patters as it changes directions and passes obstacles. The air is cool, but not cold. It’s a warm place, warm in temperature and spirit. The land of the hammered dulcimer.
You are 4 centimeters tall. The world around you is large, but not unfamiliar. Beside the stream is a puddle of still water, being warmed by the sun. You peer into the pool, your tiny eyes able to focus on even tinier things. Wheel animalcules dance just under the surface of the water. A cyclopoid copepod darts towards the edge. You close your eyes, breathing deeply. The forest breathes with you. The land of the science experience.🍍
