Twin Turbo’s spotlight swivels upon Frenchman Madame this month for a stroll around Dark Techno Lake, through the Deep Mood Woods, past the Thumping Bass Valley, arriving at the Caves of Never-ending Night. It’s a tried and tested journey that many have made throughout the years, from the sample focused title track ‘Falling Phase,’ the rigid percussive missive ‘Booth Echo,’ the non-melodic ‘Vela Pulsar’ which features a sample of an actual pulsar that I myself also implemented as a sample in a melodic fashion many moons ago, to the approaching ambient dark statement of a collaboration with Deapmash, ‘Acquiesce the Front.’ The production is airtight, the ideas are worth exploring, the quality of the Twin Turbo name is upheld, and my attention has been turned. 🍍
