Duo Dusky are back on their own imprint for its 25th release, and while I am inclined to call it a return to form, I will not call it such, as the two have not left their form; indeed, Dusky have been crafting and growing their form with love and care for years to the point that this Imagine What EP feels rooted in what a Dusky release should feel like while continuing to grow the idea of a Dusky release in the present. Effortless emotional melodic riffs are elevated on high by drum breaks that have stood the test of time, polished crisp perfection goes up against naïve organic nuance, body movement is brought to a level of introspection that few other artists can attain so regularly.
