2019 is coming to a close (praise be) and we here at We Hate Music would like to highlight some of the records that slipped through the cracks. Happy Holidays and hope you enjoy.
Thom Yorke’s album Anima gives the impression of someone trying to find ambient noise rock intersecting early-20th-century poetry sensibilities. Anima sleepily rolls over and over in its own bed of faux-low-fi production trying to find meaning in repetition and permutating dream states which fail to impact the wakeful. ⛰️
